ChTPZ has set a record after the introduction of sanctions

The introduction of sanctions on Russia has stimulated the Chelyabinsk pipe rolling plant to the rise of the production volumes. Last year the enterprise set a record: it produced 1 mln tons of large diameter pipes, “Channel 1” reports.

For the past years a serious modernization has been held at the enterprise. The new pipe rolling projects, including with China, could not have come at a better time. The volume of order is growing. Today the plant jokes – we don’t correspond to the world level, we are the world level.

“We treat sanctions are a challenge as today we have the modern equipment, technologies, use modern materials and we should not wait for other restrictions. We actively enter those markets that become accessible for us today, that become interesting for us from the point of view of economy, prices and demand”, managing director of ChTPZ, V. Tazetdinov, said
