Gazprom sets anti-records of gas extraction

On the results of 2015 Gazprom’s extraction might make up only 418-419 bln cubic m of gas while in 2014 – 443.884 bln cubic m.

For Gazprom this level is the historical minimum. Previously Gazprom said that for the calculation of the annual bonus for 2015 the company plans to correct its target rates of activity efficiency.

The rate of over 418 bln cubic m is present in the current gas balance. The source close to the production block of Gazprom didn’t specify the plan: “What if the weather changes for the cold”?

The deputy chairman of Gazprom, V. Markelov, didn’t answer the question on the annual extraction rate.

The level of 418-419 bln cubic m means that in December 2015 Gazprom’s extraction will be at the level of December 2014 (44 bln cubic m). In December 2015 there might be the additional 3.8 bln cubic m of gas export to the far abroad countries on Gazprom’s balance that is partially covered by the reduction of supplies to the domestic market which fell due to the warm weather, economic crisis and escalation of competition.
