In 2016-2017, Vostok NAO to start drilling of prospecting wells at six sites

In 2016-2017, oil company Vostok NAO plans to begin drilling prospecting wells at six of the seven licensed areas in the Nenets autonomous district. This was announced by the company’s CEO Vladimir Sarychev.
According to him, since its inception last year, the company has already conducted 2D field seismic survey in the amount of 1 150 linear km and 2500 square km of 3D seismic survey. "For comparison: in 2014, all oil companies in the Nenets autonomous district carried out 3D seismic exploration works in the amount of 3 thousand sq. km, 1 150 sq. km of which fell on Vostok NAO, "- he said.
