Uzbekistan completes construction of coal-mining complex

According to the company, complex of overburden removal has been started around-the-clock, and the whole production line must start to work in December.
The general project contractor is the Chinese company Sino Coal International Engineering. Equipment suppliers were German FAM and Takraf and Russian IZ- Karteks and Anzheromash, as well as Ukrainian Loginov and partners.
The completion of the cyclical-and-continuous mining complex construction and its launch will enable it to increase the planned coal production at the open-pit mine two times to 6.4 million tons, 4.6 million tons of which will be supplied to the Novo-Angren thermal station.
