Rosneft has obtained the option of the redemption of Eni’s share in Severenergiya. Novatek and Gazpromneft contended as well, Vedomosti reports with the reference to the informed sources.
Last week Italian group Enel SpA sold Rosneft 40% in the JV with Eni - Arctic Russia B. V., which holds 49% of Severenergiya. After conclusion of the transaction at the amount of $1.8 billion, Rosneft obtained the perogative right to redeem Eni’s share, the sources close to one of the shareholders of Severenergiya and Rosneft reported.
