Krasnoyarsk aluminium plant maintains leadership on production efficiency among UC Rusal’s enterprises

Due to introduction of a new production system, over the first nine months of 2013 the Krasnoyarsk aluminium plant received economic effect in the amount of over $6 million. As a result, the prime cost of 1 tons of commercial aluminium decreased by $9.34. As a comparison, in 2012 this rate made up $2.68 per ton.

From the beginning of 2013, the metallurgists of the plant offered 743 efficient business ideas on the improvement of productiont, 530 of which were introduced. In particular, the project of creation of ideal production was implemented at the enterprise’s pot rooms and work on improving quality of high value-added products took place at casthouses. The plants extended line of products that are demanded as on the domestic, as on the global markets.
