Key hydrocarbon reserves’ growth is expected at the Russian water areas

The key growth of reserves is definitely expected at the Russian water areas, an associate member of the RAS, V.Bogoyavlensky said.
According to him, analyzing the resources of the deposits in the Arctic shelf – 43% of open reserves – is in the Russian water area of the Barents and Kara Seas. He has added there has been opened 91.3% in total. The Russian shelf is underexplored to date.
