Ukraine will increase own gas production to 24 billion cubic m

The Ukraine will increase own gas production to 24 billion cubic m, the President V. Yanukovich says. The state is eager to decline expensive gas purchase, and will look for cheaper gas and will diversify gas supplies. In 2010, the Ukraine bought 42 billion cubic m of gas in Russia, and will buy 18 billion cubic m this year. Within the latest 2 years, the Ukraine increased own gas to 21 billion cubic m. In September 2013, the Ukraine increased own gas by 4% to 1.7 billion cubic m, (+2.2% to the yield of August 2013).
