Pipes for "North Stream-2" can cost at least € 2.6 billion for "Gazprom".

The cost of large-diameter pipes for "Nord Stream-2" in the euro would be lower than for the first and second thread in 2012, when the total value of the contracts for the purchase of pipes amounted to about € 2.6 billion, a source in the pipe industry told Tass. At the same time another interlocutor of the agency stated that in 2012 domestic prices for the metal had doubled and the price of the pipe increased by an average of 30-40%.

"It is expected that the acceptance of applications for participation in tenders for the supply of pipes for "Nord Stream-2" will be completed in October, and the results will be announced in January", - the source states.
