Ulyukaev: Foreign investors keep interest in purchase of privatized package of Rosneft

Foreign investors are still interested in buying the package of Rosneft to be privatised, the Economic Development Minister, Alexei Ulyukayev stated to journalists.

The Minister recalled that the package in the volume of 19.5% was estimated at not less than 560 billion rubles, and could be privatized as a whole or in two tranches. Ulyukayev noted that the organizer of the sale was the owner of Rosneft - Rosneftegaz.

"There are two variants, the option of selling as one lot - that is 19.5%, or the option of selling in two tranches. Currently there is no decision, it seems, the financial advisers should suggest what is best," - said the head of the Ministry of Economic Development.
He recalled that "we are talking about a price that is not lower than the initial public offering price, which gives, I think, 560 billion rubles for the package".
