Ukrainian State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources may annul 53 licenses for subsoil use

State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of the Ukraine may cancel 53 more special permits for use of mineral resources, in addition to 48 previously canceled, head of department Dmitry Kashchuk stated.

"Special permits may be cancelled if the company didn’t pay for them. Also, the license shall be annulled if work at the area didn’t began during two years... In April, we canceled 48 licenses, and now we have 53 more subsoil users, which areas are not developed, and we can take them back. Lawsuits on 9 of them have already been sent to the court, 17 are being prepared," - he said.
