Kazakhstan to produce about 130 mln tons of oil a year by 2020

The growth in oil production in Kazakhstan will last until 2020, after that there will be a fall. The CEO of the Association KAZENERGY, A. Magautov said.

The extraction of oil will grow in Kazakhstan. Until 2020 these volumes might make up to 120 mln – 130 mln tons and in future there will be a fall caused by the reduction in extraction at the large and old deposits. We understand it is necessary to increase the investment into geological exploration, he said.
