Bulgaria intends to buy gas from Azerbaijan

In case of possible termination of the supply of Russian gas through the Ukraine, Bulgaria will be able to receive natural gas from Greece in exchange for electricity, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Energy of Bulgaria Anton Pavlov reported.
"There are signs of a repetition of the gas crisis of 2009," - said Pavlov.
Yesterday, the crisis staff of the Ministry of Economy and Energy of Bulgaria, headed by the Minister Shtonov, discussed measures to reduce the possible effects of the disruption of the natural gas supplies.
