Ukraine reduces production of ferroalloys by 23% in January-August

In January-August 2013 Ukrainian ferroalloy enterprises reduced their production by 23% compared to 2012 – to 551 thousand tons, Ukrainian Association of Ferroalloy Producers reports.

Particularly, production of silicomanganese reduced by 15.8% - to 405.25 thousand tons, ferromanganese – by 54.7% - to 55.7 thousand tons, ferrosilicon (45%) – by 16.4% - to 84.2 thousand tons, metallic manganese – by 45.3% - to 5.8 thousand tons.
