First come – first receives the rights tor subsoil use in Kazakhstan using the Australian method

In August, the Kazakh Government started an Australian method of subsoil use rights on a principle pf "first come, first received" in pilot mode.

Recently, the China-Central Asia forum of stock markets, organized by the KASE, was held in Almaty. Its main goal was to present local projects to potential investors of China.

Of course, the main interest of the Chinese representatives in terms of capital investment is closely connected with the development of natural resources in Kazakhstan. That’s why speech of director of the Investment and Development Ministry’s Department of Subsoil Timur Toktabaev on the reform of the legal basis, designed to simplify the access of foreign investors to the development of mineral resources, received a special attention.
