All railway cars with fuel, oil and lubricants, stopped in Kazakhstan, are delivered to Kyrgyzstan

All the railway cars with fuel, oil and lubricants, detained in Kazakhstan in 2014,  have arrived in Kyrgyzstan, the Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan reports.

Since April 2014, the Kazakhstan’s Customs Service didn’t pass the railway cars with fuel and lubricants, which went from Russia to Kyrgyzstan. According to the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan Atameken, the reason for the detention was the Kazakhstan Government’s decree on the introduction of restrictions on  petroleum products export.
According to Sputnik Kyrgyzstan, the Kazakh side didn’t pass the railway cars because of the wrong customs documents. After receiving the relevant documents, it was necessary to pay $13 million for the downtime of the railway cars.
