Rental of the Ukrainian GTS does not guarantee the flow of investments, the experts state. They advise to continue reforms and to take a tougher line against the European satellites of "Gazprom".
The Ukraine is ready to partially lease its gas transportation system (GTS) and underground gas storages (UGS) out. But the experts do not believe that it will automatically attract foreign investors and provide the modernization of the GTS. Kiev can only resist Russian projects of bypassing pipelines in alliance with Brussels.
