Turboatom (the Ukraine) has signed a contract with Energotrans on purchase of longitudinal welded titanium tubes of high quality to the amount of 338.3 million rubles (the producer of tubes is corporation VSMPO-Avisma).
Today, the Turboatom produces the third capacitor with modular turbine with capacity of 1000 MW for the unit №3 of the Balakovo nuclear power station. It will be produced according to the technology that was developed and applied four years ago - with cooling tubes of titanium alloys. Due to this efficiency of turbine equipment increased and its service life and the inter-repair period was extended.
