SOCAR has launched a new well at the Garadag onshore deposit. One of two Azeri underground gas storages operates on its base. As a result of operation of the new base, they daily inject to the storage 100,000 cubic m of gas. The remaining gas volume in the underground gas storages is 1.38 billion cubic m, including 746.43 million cubic m in Garadag and 630.6 million cubic m in Kalmaz. Now they continue gas injection to the state underground gas storages.
