The KOKS Group announced its production results for the H1.

The Industrial Metallurgical Holding (the KOKS Group) announced its production results for the H1 2014.

In the H1 of 2014 the Industrial Metallurgical Holding companies (the KOKS Group) increased the production of coking coal and iron.

The favorable geological situation and the effective work of the staff allowed the "Butovsk" mine and the "Uchastok Koksoviy" section to exceed the production plan. The coal concentrate virtually unchanged compared to the H1 2013.

The volume of coke production decreased by 1%. In the Q1 2014 the production of coke increased thanks to the growth in demand for the high quality coke, the production of which started JSC "Koks". However, in the Q2 a decrease in the volume of coke production was associated with the reduced supplies to the Asian region due to the unfavorable market conditions. In this case JSC "Koks" has concentrated on the production of the high yield coke of the major factions increasing the shipment of such coke to 20% of the total supply
