Weatherford Company has held micro-seismic monitoring at Kogalym deposit of Lukoil-AIK

Weatherford Company has held the first series of micro-seismic monitoring at the Kogalym deposit of Lukoil-AIK CJSC. The monitoring was held while 4-stageous layer hydraulic fracturing at the horizontal well of the deposit. The micro-seismic control was performed while intensification with the help of a group of 8 digital 3-component seismoscopes installed at the neighboring bent hole. The speed model was built on the basis of the diagrams of cross-dipole acoustic carotage at the well before monitoring.
