Russian Government to put up a gas bearing subsoil area in the Azov Sea for auction

The Russian  P.M. Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree on the holding of an auction for right to use the Kurgan site in the Temryuksky Gulf of the Azov Sea for geological study of subsurface, exploration and production of hydrocarbon raw materials, the document, published on the site of the Cabinet of Ministers, says.

According to the decree, any person interested therein, engaged in business activities, can file an application in accordance with the established procedure and met the requirements for subsoil users in the areas of federal significance may take part in the auction.
