Bashneft to sell 98% of United Petrochemical Company to AFK Systema for 6.2 billion RUR

On July 17th, 2013 the Board of Directors of Bashneft decided to sell 98% of United Petrochemical Company (ONK) to AFK Systema JSFC.
The decision was made in the framework of the strategy aimed at the sale of non-core assets and is supposed to be approved at the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on August 26th, 2013.
The shareholders will consider the sale of the above-mentioned shareholding for 6.2 billion RUR.
