Gazprom to double gas purchase from independent producers in 2015

Gazprom plans to increase gas purchase from independent producers 1.7 times from 15.6 billion up to 27 billion cubic meters in 2015. Interfax reports citing K.Seleznev, chief executive of “Gazprom mezhregiongaz”. The purchases will mainly increase at the expense of “Severenergy”, he said. “Novatek” and “Gazpromneft” own “Severenergy” on a parity basis. In Q1, “Arcticgaz” (Severenergy’s subsidiary) produced 4.3 billion cubic meters of gas, runs the company’s statement. The production capacity makes up 27 billion cubic meters.
