Primorskugol can’t fulfill plan on solid fuel production because of gas

The transfer of Vladivostok TPP-2 to consumption of natural gas has prevented Primorskugol to fulfill the plan for solid fuel mining. In the first quarter of 2014, the company made the loss in the amount of 1 million rubles, mined only 724.8 thousand tons of coal, the Zolotoy Rog reports.

During the annual meeting, shareholders of Primorskugol (a part of the Vladivostok branch of SUEK) decided not to pay dividends for 2013, and to leave undistributed the company’s net profit in the amount of 175 million rubles.

Lets note, in the first quarter of 2014, the company made the loss in the amount of 1 million rubles , while the last year’s profit was 142 million rubles. In the first quarter of 2014, Primorskugol’s enterprises mined only 724.8 thousand tons of coal (the plan was 1.249 million tons).
