Alfa-Group invests in oil business again

One of the former co-owners of BP-TNK, Hermann Khan returns to energy projects. He will be in charge of L1 Energy to invest in international oil and gas sector. The Alfa Group consortium which used to represent some of the Russian shareholders in BP-TNK will be the founder of the company.
From 2003-2013 Hermann Khan used to be a director of of BP-TNK. In March shareholders of BP-TNK (50% belonged to the consortium of Alfa Group, Access Industries and Renova – AAR and 50% to BP) sold their shares to Rosneft.
