Gazprom’s Board of Directors has approved the company’s work on the implementation of the Eastern gas program, the gas company reports.
The company actively extends its resource base in the east of Russia, develops its producing and transport capacities. In particular, the works on the construction of surface facilities at the Kirinsk field are being completed. The production will be carried out with the help of underwater producing complex – for the first time on the Russian shelf. In summer, Gazprom will connect the first operating well to the gas gathering facilities.
