Gazprom to help Japan with construction of the gas transport system

Gazprom and Japan discussed the expanding of their bilateral cooperation in the sphere of energy, first of all natural gas delivery from Vladivostok LNG to Japan which can start in 2018, Gazprom reports.
Though Japan consumes the World's fourth largest amount of energy, the country has almost no own energy resources of its own. The country imports 100% of the gas it consumes as LNG and is the largest LNG importer in the world.
