Novosibirsk oil refinery plant “VPK-Oil” to triple production capacities to 1.8 mln tons a year within 5 years

​The oil refinery plant of “VPK-Oil” in the Kochenevo district of the Novosibirsk region within the coming 5 years will increase its production capacities from 500 thousand to 1.8 mln tons a year with the participation of Chinese investors, CEO of “VPK-Oil”, S. Tumashov, said.

“The period for projection, expertise and construction is about 5 years. I think in 2019 we will reach 1.8 mln tons a year”, he said.

 According to him, “VPK-Oil” plans to realize the project together with the Chinese companies China Machinery Industry Construction Group which will coordinate it from the Chinese party and attract investment of the Chinese Government structures, and Hoto which will be the general projector.

The deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk region, S. Semka, said that the investment into the project is preliminarily assessed at $500 mln. The exact investment volume will be determined after the projection is over. S. Tumashov added that about 15% of investment will be “VPK-Oil” made by, the rest – by China.
