In January – February, oil exports via Ceyhan reduced by 3.7% to 4.46 million tons

In January – February, oil exports via the Turkish port of Ceyhan reduced by 3.7% to 4.46 million tons, SOCAR reports. Since the start of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline operation until March 1 2014, Azeri oil exports via Ceyhan were 239.33 million tons. Total length of the pipeline is 1,768 km, including 443 km via Azerbaijan, 249 km via Georgia, and 1,076 km via Turkey. Construction of the pipeline began in April 2003, and its filling in with oil began on May 18 2005.
