Gazpromneft starts the fourth project on the study of shale oil reserves

Gazpromneft-Khantos (Gazpromneft’s subsidiary) has received a license for geological study of deep promising oil-saturated horizons in the Southern part of the Priobskoye field – the Achimov and Bazhenov groups, the company reports.
The horizons are located at the depth of 2.5-2.7 thousand meters; their hydrocarbon reserves are difficult because of low flow properties of formations
