Severstal will start steel smelting at a mini-mill in Balakovo in May. urrently they have completed the construction of the main production objects and are actively assembling the equipment and infrastructure objects. They have nearly completed the assembling of an uninterrupted casting mill.The annual projected capacity of the plant is 1 million tons of sort construction steel. Investment to the project is 21.5 billion rubles.
