Miller: in the first half of January Gazprom increased export to Europe by 29%

​The key countries-consumers show a significant growth, A. Miller said.

On Jan 1-16 Gazprom increased gas export to the far-abroad countries by 29.4% to 7.75 bln cubic m, A. Miller said.

The demand for the Russian gas in the far-abroad countries grew.

A significant is shows by the key countries-consumers: export to Germany rose by 42.1%, UK-170.2%, Italy-23.4%, Polan-581%, France-22.8%, Austria-75.5%.

In 2015 Gazprom increased the export to the far-abroad countries by 8% against 2014 to 159.4 bln cubic m. in 2015 gas supply t Germany grew by 17.1%, Italy-12.6%, France-36.8%, UK-10.2%, Austria-11.5%.

In 2015 Gazprom set an absolute record of gas supply to Germany – 45.3 bln cubic m. Gazprom forecast gas export to Europe in 2015 at 158 bln cubic m. In 2014 “Gazprom export” reduced gas supply to the European consumers by 9.3% to 146.6 bln cubic m.
