"Mechel" plans a capital expenditures at the level of $ 40 million in 2016, said CEO Oleg Korzhov in a conference call on Wednesday.
"We are not planning new investment projects for the next year. The cost of maintenance will probably at about our planned targets in 2015 - somewhere around $ 40 million for the year, a figure that includes all departments," - said Korzhov, noting, that the final level of capital expenditures is not defined.
"If we are going to discuss some investment projects, it will definitely be small-scale projects aimed at effective results and ensures the quick return of funds", - added the CEO. The implementation of such projects will depend on the availability of sources.
