Shakhdeniz 2 will be advantageous very much for the EU states, the Minister of Energy and Natural Reserves of Turkey R. Yildyz says at the ceremony of closure of the final investment decision on the Shakhdeniz 2 project. Shakhdeniz 2 is aimed not only to satisfaction of gas needs of Turkey, but the EU states as well. Earlier Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipelines were built but it was not enough. Mr. Yildyz claims that Turkey appreciates such regional cooperation and will also participate in such project later.
