Severstal and TMK optimize supply process

Severstal and TMK have agreed about joint realization of the cross-functional project ‘The creation of the management system over the supply process between Severstal and TMK’. The main task of the project is the total optimization of all business-processes, either logistic, commercial and production and technical, including those connected with quality improving, within the bounds of production, supplies and processing of rolled steel for declining of financial and time expenses. They have chosen as the pilot site for realization of the project Taganrog metal works, one of TMK enterprises, producing a wide assortment of seamless and welded steel pipes, including in the oil and gas sector.
