Agreement on privatization of Kyrgyzgas by Gazprom to be signed before the end of July

Agreement on privatization of Kyrgyzgas by Gazprom will be signed with Russia in the next ten days, Kyrgyzgas’ General Director, Turgunbek Kulmurzaev stated on Wednesday.

Last week, the Russian Prime Minister ,Dmitry Medvedev approved the draft intergovernmental agreement, according to which all assets of the national gas operator Kyrgyzgas, including gas pipelines, gas distribution stations and underground gas storages, will be transferred to Gazprom for $1.
