Shell is ready to work in Russia even under sanctions

​The management of Shell has decided to go on working in Russia even in the conditions of the western sanctions.

The head of Shell, Ben van Berden, said that the Russian market saves its investment attractiveness and gives good opportunities at the realization of large energy projects. Van Berden said that the company will invest into the development of the oil and gas sector in Russia as it doesn’t plan to lose this market and give it to other investors.

From the point of view of geology and geography, Russia occupies one of the most beneficial positions in the international raw materials market. Even the bans of the western countries will not be able to stop businessmen who are ready to go on working in Russia, he added.
