Gazprom and OMV to cooperate in energy sector

Within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum – 2016, a working meeting of chairman of the Gazprom’s Board Alexei Miller, chairman of the OMV’s Board Peter Loescher and chairman of the OMV’s Management Board Rainer Seele has taken place.
The meeting’s participants discussed the issues of the bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
The particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Nord Stream - 2 project, which, taking into account the growing demand for Russian gas, will provide its reliable supply to both Austria and Europe as a whole.
