Wintershall plans to invest about 500 million euro into oil and gas projects in Russia before 2015

In 2013-2015,the German company Wintershall plans to invest about 500 million euros into oil and gas projects in Russia, the company reports with reference to chairman of the Wintershall’s Board Chairman, Rainer Seele. "Our partnership with Gazprom and Lukoil is fruitful, and we intend to continue this cooperation in the future, - said Seele at the World Petroleum Congress in Moscow. - We continue our adherence to investments into joint projects with Russian partners in Russia and outside it". Since 1990, Wintershall has developed their cooperation with the largest Russia oil and gas companies. Wintershall is involved in the Nord Stream and South Stream projects, in the development of the South-Russkoye field and the Achimov deposits of the Urengoy field together with Gazprom. "Russia is one of the key regions for Wintershall. We have accumulated rich technological experience and gained a vast knowledge of the local conditions in Russia," - said Seele.
