Fire at the Achinsk oil refinery warms the market.

The stock fuel prices went up.

The explosion and fire at "Rosneft"’s Achinsk oil refinery can stop the production untill the end of the year. The current reserves in the neighboring regions of Siberia will last about a month, then "Rosneft" will reimburse the missing volumes from the other plants. The market has already reacted to the accident: with the cost of AI-92 gasoline at the adjacent "Gazpromneft"’s Omsk Oil Refinery increased by 3% on the exchanges, and, according to "the Kommersant" sources, "Rosneft" starts buying the fuel itself.

In the evening of June 15th at the "Rosneft"’s Achinsk oil refinery the explosion was followed by fire during the commissioning work on the installation of gas fractioning. According to the company, the distillation column was destroyed, the structures of the nearby buildings are damaged. Six people were killed, seven were hospitalized, the fate of two was unknown as of yesterday. "Rosneft" explained to "the Kommersant" that the planned preventive maintenance took place at the Achinsk oil refinery at the time of the accident, before which the supply of petroleum products was made. On Monday, "Rosneft" approved the reconstruction plan and took actions to supply the neighboring regions with fuel
