Norilsk Nickel is about to challenge ecological debt of 1.4 billion roubles

“GMK “Norilsk Nickel” is about to put an ecological debt of the company at 1.4 billion roubles in issue. An appropriate suit against Rosprirodnadzor arrived at the Arbitration court on May 14.
“GMK “Norilsk Nickel” attempts to declare the ecological debt illegal. It goes from the suit that “Norilsk Nickel” filed an application to Rosprirodnadzor to get the certificate, confirming the absence of debts, as of May 1, 2013. However, Risprirodnadzor issued a certificate, according to which the company’s debt makes up 1.4 billion roubles. “Norilsk Nickel” can not agree with this fact.
