In March, Naftogaz Ukraine bought 200 million cubic m of gas in Gazprom, only for transit, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry E. Stavitsky says. He claims that the Ukrainian companies have no difficulties connected with the decline in Russian gas purchase by Naftogaz. The state follows the Energy Charter Treaty. Naftogaz is not the monopoly gas supplier to the Ukraine any more. Now both the commercial companies import gas both from Europe and Russia.
