In 2014, Lukoil Overseas increased oil production 2.4 times

At the meeting of the Lukoil’s Balance Commission production activity of Lukoil Overseas in 2014 has been summed up.

Hydrocarbon production reached a record volume in the history of Lukoil Overseas and made up 112 million barrels of oil equivalent.

The company produced 9.6 million tons of oil, which is 2.4 times more than in 2013, at the same time the increase was caused by launch of the West Qurna-2 field in Iraq; the company also produced 6.8 billion cubic meters of gas. Thus, the proportion of Lukoil Overseas in the total oil production of Lukoil increased from 4.4% to 10% as compared with 2013, while the share in the total production of hydrocarbons - from 9.5% to 13.3%.
