Rosneft and Mongolia negotiate for joint production

Rosneft discusses possibility of joint projects on exploration and production of mineral resources in Mongolia with its government.

These perspectives were discussed during the meeting of Rosneft’s head Igor Sechin with the head of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, minister of metal mining industry Davaazhavyn Ganhuyag and prime minister Norovyn Altankhuyag. It was noted that the Russian company had cooperated with Mongolian enterprises in the field of oil products supply for 10 years. It is reported that Rosneft provides roughly 80% of Ulan-Bator railway’s needs in diesel fuel.
