The Ministry of Finances is going to nullify mineral tax for gas and gas condensate extracted from the deposits located at the Gydan peninsula, Yamal-Nenets autonomous area from January 1, 2015, under the project of the document published at the informational site on preparing of the legal acts.
In 2011, Novatek won the tender for the subsoil use rite for the Salamanovsky (Utrenny), Geophysichesky, Obsky-North and Tambey-East sites located at the Gydan peninsula. Under the license clauses, gas extracted there will be used for LNG production.
