Kazakhstan. Export Customs duty on oil to be up in 2014

One of the most interesting news of the previous week is the information that the second wave of “Public IPO” programme will increase the number of personal accounts up to 400-500 thousand. The government order on an increase of export customs duty on crude oil from $60 to 80 per a ton and a statement of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Budget Planning E.Dosayev on keeping the same volume of oil production in 2014 (83 mln tons) stands out in oil-and-gas sector.

Export customs duty on crude oil was established in Kazakhstan for all the companies-exporters of oil in the amount of $20 per a ton, except the ones, which operated under PSA, in August 2010.
