In January-February, oil export from Azerbaijan fell by 4.9%, gas export grew by 22%

In January-February of the current year, oil export from Azerbaijan fell by 4.9% as compared with the same period of 2013 to 5.363 million tons, the country’s State Customs Committee reports.

According to the Committee, in January-February over 4.283 million tons of oil were exported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline (-5.5%), via the Baku-Supsa pipeline – about 712 703 tons (+0.2%), via the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline – 249 601 tons (-16.1%), and by railway to Georgian ports – about 142 975 tons (+9.5%).
