South Korea shows interest in Ukrainian subsurface sites

 

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the largest South Korean Energy Corporation “Kores”. The agreement considers joint development of the sites and minerals prospecting.

 

 

As they stated in the press-service of Minecology, the second Memorandum was signed with the SouthKorean Institute of Earth Sciences and Mineral Resources by the head of the State Geology Service of the Ukraine E.Stavitsky. According to the memorandum, the parties have agreed to carry out joint investigations of the programmes in geology, reinforce technical training of the specialists, develop a number of regulations in the mineral resources field and constant information exchange, regarding geology and mineral resources.
