Ukrnafta asks Yatsenyuk to cancel fine for delay of dividend payment

Ukrnafta has addressed the PM, A. Yatsenyuk, asking to cancel the order of the Ministry of Economic Development on interest charging from the company for overdue payment of dividends.

Ukrnafta states that the order on interest charging was approved with the violation of procedure rules. The interest is charged for non-payment of dividends in 2011-2013 though the amount was determined only on October 10th 2014.

Ukrnafta thinks that both the procedure rules of signing such orders and the law stating the obligations have been violated. Ukrnafta plans to appeal this order, the chairman M. Rollins said.

The Ministry of Economic Development ordered to collect 1.506 bln grivnas for overdue in dividend payment in 2011-2013. The fine for the delay of dividend payment for 2011 is 893 mln grivnas, 2012 – 553 mln grivnas, 2013 – 59.9 mln grivnas. The payment is to be made within the stated by the law period. It is directed to the state budget fund.
